The Project Engineer 2 Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all general engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Submitting O&M manuals.
Assisting in development of full estimate.
Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
Managing schedule updates.
Managing productivity reports.
Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.
2-4 years of experience with aB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable STEM degree AND at least 2 years electrical/mechanical design or contracting industry experience.
0-2 years of experience with a MS/MA
At times, required to access work areas that are accessible only by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladders or stairs that are under construction.
Must wear an M.C. Dean hard hat and safety glasses at all times while on the job site.
Ability to travel upon the completion of current project domestically across different project locations and scopes.
Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
Identify and understand the speech of another person.
