Position Summary
In this role, as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising daily work location activities including scheduling of workers, timesheets, ordering and delivery of equipment and materials, budgeting, and ensuring timely completion and QC work. Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
Provide oversight for security installation and maintenance projects, typically involving 5 to 10 persons with values ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to over a million dollars
Keep customer and company informed of progress of surveys and installation. Communicating and coordinating with customer and project management related to site access, survey and installation, and maintenance requirements
Assist with development of project schedules
Mentoring and leading less experienced technicians
Interface with engineering team to ensure design efficiency and discuss potential installation issues
Plan and actively track work to ensure compliance with project schedule and budget
Assist technicians with surveys and installation work as needed to maintain project schedule and budget
Maintain organized and detailed project records (cases, schedule completion, timesheets, daily work tickets, etc.)
Provide Project Manager with project status and schedule updates
Interface with customers to address project status and/or customer concerns
Position / Candidate Requirements
High School Diploma with 10-12 Years of construction experience
Minimum of 5 years as Construction Superintendent, Foreman, or other management posisiton overseeing projects; or military leadership experience equivalent
Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, product/material installation instructions and engineering/architectural drawings
Experience with construction projects, mechanical/electrical systems, building materials, building mechanics, or working with craft workers
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
Demonstrate background working with and managing multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrate time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
OSHA 30 training will be provided
Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
